PROJECT 05 / BOOKMARKED

The objective of this design book is to explore floral design through the lens of European painters, offering an insightful journey into the historical and cultural significance of flowers in European art. By examining masterpieces from various eras and regions, the book aims to inspire contemporary floral designers and enthusiasts with timeless techniques, compositions, and
color palettes, bridging the gap between classical art and modern floral design.

For this book, I researched various art eras between the 1600s
and 1800s, including the painters, styles, colors, and techniques
of each period. I focused specifically on floral arrangement paintings from these eras, studying the patterns, compositions,
and symbolism used by the artists. This in-depth research provided a comprehensive understanding of how floral design
was portrayed in European art, allowing me to draw connections between historical and modern practices in floral design.
